PEOPLE IN THE NORTH
The north east part of the country has a road that leads to a long and straight forward path to the most northern part of Iceland. The sea that surrounds this peninsula is an unforgiving neighbour, and have shaped the lives of the people living a long the coast of Melrakkasletta. At the end is a small town called Raufarhöfn. Its remote charm is both quiet and calm, what used to be one of the major shipping harbors in the country is now the host for few boats. A haven for birds and other living creatures.
