The north east part of the country has a road that leads to a long and straight forward path to the most northern part of Iceland. The sea that surrounds this peninsula is an unforgiving neighbour, and have shaped the lives of the people living a long the coast of Melrakkasletta. At the end is a small town called Raufarhöfn. Its remote charm is both quiet and calm, what used to be one of the major shipping harbors in the country is now the host for few boats. A haven for birds and other living creatures. Thorgeir and Sigurbergur are brothers. They live a quiet life in eastern part of Iceland, a town called Seydisfjordur. Over the years they have collected all kinds of old cars, specially jeeps who usually end up in the fields rusting and ruined. They life a quiet life, far away from the noise and stress in Reykjavik capital city of Iceland. In there house lives a sheep, saved from being slaughtered and at least now relaxes with them on the farm. August 23. 2004.
