After years of Milosevic destroying much of Bosnia and part of Croatia, killing hundreds of thousands of people, and responsible for escalating human rights abuses in Kosovo, NATO finally determined to move ahead and launched a attack on Milosevic forces on the 24th. of march 1999. Thorvaldur Örn Kristmundsson has been a photographer for two decades and started as a press photographer. Covering major news events in Iceland and also in many parts of the world, his focus today is mainly photo documentary and fine art. Born 1970 in Reykjavik Iceland, Thorvaldur has worked and made stories for various agencies and magazines all over the world.
