The project ” NATURE IS BRAND ” shows the world´s most famous brand put in nature´s perspective. A man made symbol of industrialization is put in location´s in southern part of Iceland. This exhibition installing features 21 images. Project finished 2010 – Now showing in Gerdarsafn Art Museum Iceland from 06. march to 02. may 2010.
Thorvaldur Örn Kristmundsson has been a photographer for two decades and started as a press photographer. Covering major news events in Iceland and also in many parts of the world, his focus today is mainly photo documentary and fine art. Born 1970 in Reykjavik Iceland, Thorvaldur has worked and made stories for various agencies and magazines all over the world. He is working on several projects including a book on a life in remote places, still life exhibitions and a " NO HUMAN CONCEPT " that will take place in Iceland.
